Dear Friends and Potential buyers,

It was brought to my attention that an item that was up for bid on eBay had the words “Carved Wooden Fish by wildlife artist David A. Footer” in the title. Most of my ”About the Artist” web page was also copied to that page on the site. Numerous attempts were made to make the seller and eBay aware that I had not carved said ”Wooden Fish”.  However we were unsuccessful in having them remove the item or have the item re-titled to remove my name from the item.  My email address is at the bottom of each of my web pages.  If you see something that claims to have been done by me, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line and inquire.  I will gladly let you know if the item you are looking at is an authentic piece of David A. Footer Art.
